A simple 800Mhz desktop computer is used to control our display. Because the computer is old, it has ISA slots, 2 of which now house (2) digital output cards. Card #1 allows control of 48 channels while card #2 allows control of 96, providing a total of 144 channels. The remaining controllers communicate via RS-485. The outputs are controlled by special software that works in conjunction with music files.
